Hi everyone,

Back from fab hols in France (Provence) and currently waiting for test

results to see if Jim will or won't be having radiotherapy to follow

his surgery for prostate cancer.

Tense times.

My bad panc attack subsided somewhat and I'm OK just now. However, I

think the year for retirement may have arrived! Not only do certain

other activities beckon interestingly but the thought of working

through bad days seems rather less bearable at the moment, together

with thoughts of my 40 min journey to and from work each day, early

rising through the winter months etc. etc! Journeys can be even longer

when traffic is bad. However...we'll see. May change my mind when I

get back into the swing of things!

I'm now off to read at least the last 12 - 20 posts.

Warm wishes to all, especially my good friends on the site.

Fliss (UK)

Fliss dear,

It must be nerve wracking to be waiting for the news about Jim. Please know

that you're both in my thoughts and prayers and that you receive the news you

want.

A decision to retire is one requiring lots of consideration and deep thought.

I'm sure you'll be mulling it over and when the right move beckons, you'll

know what to do. In the meantime, just take it easy and enjoy those days of

freedom before a choice has to be made.

With love, hope and prayers,

Heidi
