Guest guest
Thanks for the advice, but I've already tried the science museums in Sacramento & the Bay area with no luck. The reason " she sells seashells by the seashore " , is that the Kansas folk will buy them there, but not in Kansas (nor Sacramento for that matter). Through my attempts I did meet one local collector who invited me to see his collection which fills the walls of his home, and includes some of the rarest in the world, worth thousands each. He was interested in buying one of my shells for a few bucks, which wouldn't help much. If my health holds up, I may explore again the shell club in Southern California, as they are large enough to perhaps accept shells for giveaway to children or other neophyte collectors.
