Guest guest
Hi Sandy in Ca! Good to hear from you and good to hear you haven't had to go to hospital lately. I agree that we don't want CP to interfere with living but, like you, I know what will happen with too much activity. Gardening has induced pain in me on more than one occasion. Perhaps you just need to take it a bit more easy? You want to be able to enjoy that garden, don't you?! Easier at home than from a hospital bed! Mind you, we usually get to know what we can and can't do....but there's always that unpredictable element with CP. Take care. Nice to hear from you again! Good luck. Guest guest
Fliss, Update on my garden. I layed all the stone for the retaining wall and was in much pain during the entire time but pushed through it. By 10:00 pm last night I was in such PAIN and nausea I thought I was in for it for sure. I had taken Darvocet to no avail for much of the day and evening, and didn't know the time difference I had to wait to take percocet. I have no nausea medication, which was almost the worst last night. Eventually I was able to fall asleep through the pain and nausea and this morning I feel as though a mac truck has run over me. Not from physical exertion, from the pain of the old pancreas. I have learned my lesson!! I thank God I didn't end up in the hospital last night. I did call my best friend to come take me last night, but she sat with me and helped me breath, focus and try to keep my mind on other things and it worked.I didn't have to go. Nothing is worth being away from my kid. I was so stupid to attempt too much yesterday. Never again!!! Sandy in Ca -------------- Original message -------------- Hi Sandy in Ca!
