OT-CAN I USE ECHINACEA ????

Hi,

Its Goran from Macedonia writting...

We are on SCD day 19...and we are ok with it...

BUT, my son today get some influenca, one claud and he is ill,

I buy him a Echinacea today in order to give him to help his immune system, (I

know than Im late) but when I read the prescription, it say: " Not for people

with Aids and Autoimmune Deseases

So what should I do???

I ask all you parents: Do you give you children Echinacea???

If you DO, please what is the dosage for 4 y old... Here in prescription not

mentioned for small children, only for choldren on 12 years and up....

Any adice please...........

Echinacea is legal and I know from the archives that parents do give it

to children, but I don't know the amounts. I hope someone else will

post about this. How is your son feeling today?

I don't think people with IBD are supposed to use it due to it effecting their

immune system.
