Guest guest
My goodness dawlin, you certainly have hit the grand slam of the crap life can throw at us. It is, understandablely so, putting a great deal of stress on you mentally and physically. Stress does affect our bodies and, in my case, always seemed to make my panc act up. Even now, with no panc, with the stressors I have had recently ny intestines are all in knots. About the MRCP. Did they use Secretin to stimulate you pancreas into action? If so, then yes, it can give you some discomfort. It did me and when I mentioned it to the doc he said it does happen. About your older sister. Is she the executor of the estate? If so, then give her a break. Being the executor is a very very very difficult thing to do. It is extrememly time consuming, expensive, and heart wrenching. I was the executor of my parents, I'm the youngest of 7; and it was the worse thing I had ever done in my life. I truly believe the stress that it put me under is what pushed me over the edge with my cp. I am so sorry about the death of you father. I still think of my parents every day and wonder how they would be if still here with me. Your sister probably feels abadoned by ya'll and a little bitter that she is doing all this work ( I did). Give her a call, offer to help, and even if she says no thank you, she will remember that later. Besides she may actually need a little help. It is a very very, and I am not exaggerating in the least, difficult thing to do. About the job, I am truly sorry. What a nightmare. Is there anyway that you can get a transfer within the company to another area. Are you going to get some severance or other compensation? Can your husband get health insurance with his employer? Oh and tell your bi- polar, ADD husband to lay off the caffeine and alcohol, it can make the hostility of those conditions worse. He can control his temper if he makes a conscious effort. He may not get to the mellowness he had with the meds, but he can take a deep breathe and think before he acts. I know 2 people very well that are the same way. The drugs help with the swings definetly, but the outburst of temper can be handled to a degree with out them. I hope things get better soon and do try to find some time or something that you enjoy and find relaxing and steal away some 'me' time. I take my sanity hour sometimes. Listen to my music, tinker with my stuff, whatever, and nobody could bother me. It does help. Now that my kids are back inn school, I have a lot more sanity hours. Take care Theresa.
