Guest guest
To answer some of your questions christine. My stomach feels bubbly i guess is the best way to describe it but then it turns into really sharp pains. When i go to the bathroom my poop floats and is sometimes oily. (sorry bout the description). I know that when your poop floats its a sign that your food isn't digesting and thats not good. Oh and my major is psychology. I have been taking vitamins since getting back from the surgery. I think that is helping a lot. Like you said crystal i can't eat anything. I can eat like a big spoon full of green beans and feel full. It drives me crazy becasue i love food and i want to eat lots of it. But it has been gettign better i am eating more and more everyday i think. Now i'm up to about 3 spoon fulls of green beans. Crystal you mentioned something bout bc. I have another question. I stopped taking bc right before my surgery. So i had my period at the begining of june and eneded around the 7th and then had my surgery on the 10th. I haven't statred taking my bc since i got home but i also haven't had a period. Did either of you miss your period? And restarting bc is fine after this surgery. Or do you think i should wait longer since it has only been a little over two months? Thanks so much for answering my questions i hate not knowing what going on with my body. Thanks erin ERIN --------------------------------- Yahoo! Mail for Mobile Take Yahoo! Mail with you! Guest guest
Take your time with the food. You may need to take a little GasX or something else along those lines to help with the bubbly feeling. It take a little while for our bodies to adjust to the oral enzymes. If you dont start to see some improvement soon you may want to think about getting a different enzyme. My periods were really out of whack too. I would go for what seemed like an eternity with out one then bam I would have one every 2 weeks. To be honest things are just now starting to get back into a normal rhythm. 2 months is not that long and you body has had a trememdous assault. Give it time. Try the anti gas meds and then if it does not inprove, the poop problems, them maybe you should look at a different type of enzyme. Guest guest
thanks for the response christine. I am very glad to hear that i wasn't alone with the whole period thing. I was getting a little worried about it and thinking that i had something wrong. But I knew that i just had this huge surgery and i was assuming that it had something to do with it. THe weird thing is that the time i am suppossed to have my period i get cramps but nothing happens beyond that. Maybe it's ust in my head. Who knows but thanks for responding. wrote:Take your time with the food. You may need to take a little GasX or something else along those lines to help with the bubbly feeling. Guest guest
, After the surgery my periods were weird. I was never regular, and very rarely had periods before the surgery. Howeve, when I woke up from the surgery I was having my period. I bled for over one week, and it was heavy. That was the last time I had a period for about four of five months. I started the pill about three months after the surgery. After starting the pill it took me two pill packs before having my period. Last year I ran out of bc pills while waiting to get into the doctor for a pap smear. During those two months I did not have a period. As long as I take the pill I am regular. The descripition of your bm sounds like you need a higher dose or a different brand of enzymes. That is how mine are when I don't take enough enzymes or I eat gluten.
