Guest guest
Dearest One Alana, alana@... For your daughter! Cool Black Cat with Green Eyes Go to this site (link below) to see something awesome! I have no clue how they got this to work. There are some great code writers out there! If you tease her with the mouse pointer on her chest or stomach she will purr, I got her to meow also, by rubbing her forehead with the pointer. If you make a slow circle around her body, (counter-clockwise) not only will her head/eyes follow your pointer, but toward the top, her paw will go up, and when in front of her paws at the bottom, her foot comes out like she wants to play with your mouse pointer. (Don't hold the mouse down, just move it) Enjoy! http://www.broenink-art.nl/maukie2.swf Hello all, today marks two weeks on SCD for my 13 year old daughter with Aspergers. What have we got so far? -increased eye contact -headbanging GONE/severely reduced. Have not seen this behaviour in days. -more smiles, she says she's happier -she's initiating conversations. EVEN WHEN UPSET. Wow. I overheard the other day, her speaking with her 11 year old sister: " Why do you always act that way? It's so weird! Don't you know you are weird when you act that way? " ....well, a bit of the pot calling the kettle black, but also, it was a very normal type conversation for an annoyed 13 year old to be having with an annoying 11 year old. I was thrilled. -unexpected quips and comments and a sense of humor about the daily things in life. -tolerated a long trip to Walmart (her least favorite place ever) with me yesterday with nary a complaint, panic attack or anything. -Did I mention she's initiating conversations? Eyecontact? I'm so thrilled! Thrilled I say! And it's only going to get better, I'm sure.
