thanks for your kind words. I am SO thrilled to be pain-free, attack free

and have all the bad pancreas tissue GONE.

I am still recovering from my reparative surgery in June. What was going to

be a hernia repair turned into total abdominal reconstruction with a nine

day hospital stay. I am 9 weeks post-op and still have terrible pain in the

abdomen where the muscles are attached to the 5 " x 7 " gortex mesh piece. I

guess it also takes a while for the tissue to form over the mesh so it isn't

rubbing and hurting other tissue/muscles.

Has anyone had any experience with mesh?

I know, though, it will get better with time.

Hi -

My Dr. at IU Hospital is Dr. Glen Lehman for my pancreas divisum/chronic

pancreatitis. He did five or six stents over the past three years. My whipple

surgery was performed by Dr. Atilla Nakeeb. They are both awesome and I

highly recommend them.

I am doing so good now.
