I am having such a hard time finding enzymes that I can tolerate. Has

anyone had this problem. I had been using one before that worked fine

for me but when going on the SCD I found that it wasn't legal. It has

some type of Gum in it. Now I'm searching for a new one. The Huston

ones really bother me. Lots of noise in my gut and burning on my

lips. I tried the one from GIProhealth last night and it's no good

either. It says it has egg whites in it which I'm allergic too. Well

I'm thinking of one by Kirkman, there are several Legal ones or Digest

Gold by Enzymatica. Has anyone else had these problems, if so did you

find one that worked for you?

Which ones from Houston did you try? They make several versions

because of tolerance issues. For example, there is Peptizyde and there

is AFP Peptizyde. We did not tolerate the Peptizyde but tolerate the

AFP Peptizyde just fine. Same thing with Zyme Prime, that was fine,

but the HN-Zyme Prime was not. The ones we tolerate do not have any

fruit based enzymes in them like bromelain and papain.

adrenal fatigue (mostly healed!!!)

Kids: son Rhowan 5 yrs old, chronic diarrhea/loose stools,

yeast/candida, ADHD, salicylate intolerance; daughter Willow 6.5 yrs

old, mild GI issues, yeast/candida, salicylate intolerance, NT

Started SCD June 2006, went slightly off for awhile in Nov 2006, back

on strict SCD starting May 2007. (Redid intro the last week of June

2007 and recently discovered that most carbs have to be thoroughly

pureed in order for my son to tolerate them). Sept 07 UPDATE: Seeing

MAJOR improvement in behavior and salicylate tolerance, son has

FINALLY potty-trained, and he is having frequent " trophies. "
