Guest guest
My 2 yr. old has been on the diet about a 6 weeks and is doing well. Her loose stools are a thing of the past and we are pleased with her progress. The problem is that I accidently made a batch of yoghurt that smelled scorched after it was done as I was using a new pot (I have since thrown out the pot as it was cheap and thin) to heat my milk in. I did not want to risk my daughter getting bad yoghurt as she was doing so well, so I threw it out and started over. Because of the mess up she has not has yoghurt in 2 days. Her gas is returning and I want to get some yogurt in her FAST to put the good stuff back in! I can tell she is not doing as well without it. She is also missing her bedtime snack as she drinks her yoghurt as a shake with fruit and LOVES it! The next batch will be ready in the morning. I know it needs to sit for 8 hours in the fridge but can I give her just a bit off the top after 24 hours in yoghurt maker (and make a shake with it) before I put it in the fridge? I want to get some down her QUICK! I hope I never have this happen again and I plan to allow for mess ups in the furture and never want to be without it again! Thanks! Beth mom to 2 years old and needing her yoghurt!
Guest guest
Sure, you can give her some yogurt when it's done. The waiting period has to do with the yogurt setting up more then anything. Pearl emilygracemom wrote: My 2 yr. old has been on the diet about a 6 weeks and is doing well.
