It is of interest to note that every political/legle position, act, or law concerning opiate type narcotics has for the past 100 years had it's support for exclusively political and social reasons rather than medical reasons. But, since the doctors are incharge of the drugs, something the profession worked for so that it gave their profession power, they must bow to the laws and perceptions of the regulations and political bodies. BTW, the USA most likely has the strictist control of opiates than any other country in the world. And, it seems like the perception of the largest and worst drug abuse problems also. We Bad . .
