Well after fighting with my insurance company to admend my policy. As

well as telling the Hospitals that they could not follow hand written

instructions to send labs and previous surgery reports to Dr.

Sutherland. I ended up going and having them place all of the reports

in my hand so I could over night them to his secratary. But it has

pai off in the end. I am sceduled for my Total Pancreactonomy and

Auto Islet Cell Transplant on Oct 10th. I will be admitted at 5:30 AM

that morning. My H and P is on Oct 5th at 8 AM

My sister Sandy is going to update my caring bridge site

Thats great that you are getting this done. I had my surgery exactly 4 months

after mine. I had mine June 10th and i am very happy that i did it. I know

that everything will go great Dr. Sutherland is a great doctor he makes you feel

so comfortable. If you have an uncertainties just talk to Sutherland and you

will feel a lot better. Make sure you update us how everything is going. If

you have any questions just ask. Good Luck I'll be thinking about you.

Congratulations Leanne! I had the same surgery on March 10, 2003.

Two years and seven months from the time you will be having yours. I

am very pleased with the outcome of my surgery. I hope that you too

will find success.

Leanna,

Best of health and best of success to you for your upcoming surgery.

Now that you've won the battle with the insurance company, the rest

should be easier to get ready for.

I'm sure you're anxious for your surgery date to arrive quickly, now

that the struggle is over. Hopefully you'll soon be one of Dr.

Sutherland's " graduates " , and be on the other side of the fence in

greener pastures.

We'll keep updated on your progress through your Caring Bridge

website, and wish you all the best.

With love, hope and prayers,

Hi Crystal- you are one of the ones that doc Sutherland wanted Ann

Marie to give me your phone number but she kept forgetting.
