Lactulose and Mannitol legal?

My doctor wants to do a leaky gut test by having me drink a

lactulose/mannitol liquid. He assures me that it is harmless.

I'm on day 5 of the intro.

I concerned because I don't think it's legal, I am nursing,

and I'm sure I have leaky gut.

One test I did said that I have intestinal yeast.

This doc. is holistic but doesn't guide people through

SCD.

Sorry, both of these are illegal. I wouldn't say that they are

harmless. It will probably make your diarrhea worse.
