Guest guest
Sandy, I do plan to get in touch with Lilly Pharmaceuticals about this. I've stopped using that pen and switched to another new one, but plan to save this one in case anyone ever wants to check it out. In my diabetes support group, I can remember reading about some of the older members who said they can't see the numbers on the cylinder, but rely on the " click's when they dial up the amounts of insulin they need to use. Had this happened to someone like that, that person wouldn't have made it through the night without a dangerous, if not fatal outcome. That's the kind of situation I think the consumers need to be protected from, and I want to know what kind of safety net is in place that would prevent this from happening. Sandy, as always, thanks for your kind words. I'm doing just great today and feeling very appreciative of the fact that I'm here to do so. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.
