Needing help with a school project for butter

My son's teacher just informed me that they are going to have a school

project this week for the class to make homemade butter. My son is

gf/cf. Does anybody have a gf/cf homemade butter recipe that I can

give to his teacher to have them use instead of the traditional butter

recipe that they intend to use in class?

How old is your son? Would he understand if he was allowed to help

make the butter but not eat it? Would the teacher send some home that

you could make into ghee so that he could eat it later? The butter-

making process usually involves shaking/kneeding the cream inside a

baggie, I think. Your son could probably participate safely. If he

did get some on his hands, he could wash them. I don't know of any CF

process that would be a comparable substitute.
