Guest guest
Jessie's poos over the last two days are completely sand free but are much, much more liquidy. She's now having two bm's a day and they're very loose. I have started her on S.boulaardis (just one capsules in the evening) and have upped her l.acidophilus to one whole capsule a day (which I think is around 3 billion CFU's) - prior to that she was only having 1/2 a capsule. I haven't gone back to the intro diet as I just wanted to see what would happen with S.boulaardis. Anyway so like I said, no more sand, just watery poos. Could this be die off of some kind?? Should I expect this to ease up or should I stop all supplements, go back to intro diet and then move forward again?? Oh and last night she slept terribly, was awake every 2 hours and refused a day sleep today. First thing this morning she had a bm and it was horrendous so I related that to her bad night. If you have elivated DHPPA which is a malapsorption marker then you have clostridium. I think it is a couple of hundred dollars to run the test but it will also show what nutrients you are missing and how your Krebs cycle works. (how you turn the food you eat into the energy your body/brain needs to run) It is an interesting test. > Beth > UC 28 years > Re: SCD for 4 months and can't move forward... > > > Thanks Mimi, > I'm assuming that by having a faecal microbial analysis done that > it will show up Clostridia?? Are you using the epsom salt baths? - many find they help pull out the toxins. <<Should I expect this to > ease up or should I stop all supplements, go back to intro diet and > then move forward again?? It seems that a full capsule may be a bit too much for her body at the moment. First try the epsom salt baths and see if that helps ease her die off symptoms.
