It makes him feel so bad that he has only taken one injection a day and now yesterday and today he won't take any. Do you recall a reaction like this? Guest guest Posted September 1, 2005 Report Share Posted September 1, 2005 , When I first started taking sandostatin my reactions were the same as Chris's. They switched the injection from being intravenous to subqutaneous and that lessened the side effects. They then lowered the dose, and that was magic.
