Pre-op hopeful-looking for 1 or2 contact s from Jan-1999

Hello to all you wonderful posters out there, both pre- and post-

op. I have been lurkin' for quite a while now and have posted

before, but I am depressed since my insurance has denied me to due a

specific exclusion policy and now I am in the process of appealing

it. I am also getting my packet together and will be sending it off

by the 29th, so as to miss that Dec.1st psych eval. We just sold our

house.. a major blessing since we lived on the top floor, up 48

stairs,so I am also busy packing up the house, my " clay " studio, and

many other things.. I have been checking out many sites, and actually

got an email from LT in September, BEFORE.....so after all the

brouhaha, I still kept researching, and I'm going to GO for it. I

weigh 296lbs. and I am tired of the pain in my hips from the

arthritis.. I am on crutches to walk(and I said I never would) so

the next step...would be a wheelchair...so since my ortho doc said

this surgery was medically necessary I am hoping to get it through

(ins.)that way. Hope to hear from you all...
