Guest guest
Hello everyone, yes I am new here. Been looking up what I can have based on all my symptoms. I had my gallbladder out in April of this year without gallstones just a low ejection fracton of 17%. Lets just say I never got better after that only worse. I went back to my suregon a couple of times and the second time he said to get a ERCP. Well after appoitment with family doctor...who referrd me to GI doctor, I still dont know for sure whats wrong and what to do next. Have had alot of test but nothing shows anything, my GI advises me agaist a ERCP...says he thinks it would do more harm than good. Thinks I have SOD 3, but he says theirs no way to prove it for sure. I am really stuck between a rock and a hard place right now. Heres my symptoms if anyone has any advise or wisdom on what I should try next, fatigue, bright yellow diarrhea all day and sudden ,gas, attacks in my chest that move to my middle back, shaky at times with bad night and morning sweats cramping afer I eat, and bloat. If I here one more person tell me its IBS I will scream! Something is wrong with my body, just need help trying to figure out what it is. Well I dont think I left anything out lol, I am just soooo fed up with testing, but if theres one I havent tried that will tell me whats wrong...I am up for it!!! - Michigan
Guest guest
Sannon, ERCP can cause severe attacks of acute pancreatitis. In this way it is dangerous. I found out that I had SOD via an ERCP. I had to go to a university hospital to have it done a special way called ERCP with manometery to test the sphincter of oddi pressures. Perhaps the GI that you are seeing can't do an ERCP with manometery. Crystal Galloway
Guest guest
Crystal, You still have SOD after your TP/ICT????? OOO wait, that is why I think we are doing the whipple on me first, to remove my ducts and do a 'direct dump " for everything. SOD, to me, is just as bad if not worse as pancreatitis. 7 more weeks! How are you? -Kathleen Crystal Galloway wrote:
