Guest guest
Hi all, We continue to be concerned about our son's bowel movements. We have been SCD for 14 weeks and continue to have loose bowel movements. He has been extremely, extremely picky and we have tried many different thing to get him to eat meat and vegetables. He will not. We know he probably has a yeast overgrowth due to his constant cravings for carbs. Currently, he only, and I mean only, eats two things: scd legal blueberry muffins and vanilla ice cream. I grind up chicken in his vanilla ice cream to give him some protein. He takes SCDophilous and Prozymes. On the positive side, for the past several weeks he has been looking better and better. He is beginning to gain weight and actually keeps a tan. His dark circles under his eyes have dissappated somewhat. Does anyone have any feedback on whether they think we will eventually get a firm, normal bowel movement on this track or if this will never happen with his current diet. We continue to try new things. Also, has anyone had these same problems due to a yeast overgrowth and then after treatment (Diflucan, GSE, Nystatin, etc.) did their child's appetite change? Our son used to eat veggies and meat prior to going on the diet. We have been SCD for 14 weeks but before that we were GFCF for 3 months so we have been on a diet for a total of 7 months. Any help and/or encouragement would be greatly welcomed. We are very frustrated with his appetite. Thanks in advance. www.healingelijah.com
