Guest guest
I completing understand the rock and the hard place You are in!!!! Would it be a low potency one such as amoxicillin? Let Your Mommy intuition be Your guide. If You feel like the bad out weighs the worst (him being in great Pain) than maybe You can fix the damage the antibiotic does later!!! I'm not a Dr. nor have I been in this area more than a couple of years, so it's a hard call. I do know that You are to give the probiotic 2 hrs before or after antibiotic so the meds don't wipe out everything at once. Maybe up the dose of Probiotic if You do meds. Rhonda...You sometimes have to make a choice You don't like because it is what's best for everyone! Don't be too hard on Yourself!! Raisins still have 26 grams of natural sugars... I did not know that until I looked on the box I was giving my daughter this morning. Christy [sPAM] Re:ANTIBIOTICS--What should I do? Any ideas for my little boy with cav Believe it or not, the problem IS money. This doctor is a special needs dentist and gave me some information on the Grottos (a sect of the Shriners) that pays for the expense of the anesthesia ($1500). I can't afford this...seriously. So I am a part of the problem because it took a month to get this in place...now that it is in place, I am left with the option of either waiting 2 weeks (if I want them to pay for it) or papoosing my boy with no anesthesia just to temporarily fix the tooth that is the most troublesome! Ahh! Will antibiotics really hurt him? I'm ticked off about this too, but I don't know which way to turn. If I get a new dentist, it will be more time and I wouldn't have the $1500 help from the Shriners and I wouldn't be able to pay the bill...I'm stuck!
