I just started the intro diet yesterday. I'm doing it with my 8 year old son who

has autism. Yesterday late afternoon I started getting a headache. I still have

it and it's worse. What can I do to make it better. I can hardly function.

Thanks.

Sounds like a die off headache.

Epsom salt baths and/or activated charcoal may help. Scroll down to

Are you getting enough of the legal carbs on the intro?

Thanks for the link. Yes, it sounds like I'm having die off. That's funny. I

wasn't even really doing this diet for me but for my son that has autism. I will

try the suggestions.

My husband went SCD to make things easier for me,

the SCDer. And discovered it helped with his chronic fatigue.

I have to tell you what I did to get rid of the die-off headache. First, I took

two activated charcoal capsules. Then a few minutes later my Mother-in-law told

me to try a peroxide enema. The peroxide kills out yeast and the enema washes

out the die-off. I don't know if that's legal on the diet or not, but I was

desperate to get rid of the headache. As soon as I was done with the enema my

headache was gone! I feel pretty good today. Is the peroxide enema okay to do on

this diet for die-off?

I did a little looking on the net and found a few horror stories of

using peroxide enemas. Some were from using too-strong concentrations.
