Guest guest
The PAI sends its prayers to all of the victims and survivors of Hurricane Katrina and especially to the members of the Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida State PAI Chapters. This involves over a hundred of our members. To be challenged with pancreatitis and face the devastation of being homeless, losing everything is a challenge that can probably only be understood by someone who has experienced this. Many people cannot fathom this reality. Know that our prayers, thoughts, and support are with each and every one of you now and in the days to come. I was raised in New Orleans and continue to have friends and family both in New Orleans and Baton Rouge and am overwhelmed at how deeply affected I am by the seriousness of this large natural disaster. It is troublesome to have loved ones that cannot be contacted due to the loss of electricity and phone service. Therefore, to any of our members who have not been directly hit, but do live in those states, please send us an email and tell us your story. I need to connect with as many of you as possible, so we know you are safe. How can we help? How can the PAI be of service?
