I broke my kitchen aid this morning(sob!) and it won't be fixed for

about a week. i usually grind my own meat, so I don't know what brand

of ground Turkey is legal. I know Jenni-o has Rosemary extract in

it-is that legal?

Hi Teena,

I was told by someone on one of our lists that rosemary extract is

legal. I've been using Jennie-O turkey for a year and haven't had

problems.

Hi Teena,

Sorry, 'bout your kitchen aid - that stinks!

Pure rosemary extract is okay. You have to ensure there is nothing but

the pure extract added.

I've contacted the company that makes Honeysuckle White ground turkey

and I was told that " The carrier that is used for the rosemary is

propylene glycol. " Jennie-O may do it the same. Does propylene

glycol sound legal? I sure hope so as it's better than the ones with

MSG added, but I don't know.
