Guest guest
Actually the fruit isn't low GI.....and the whole Wheat bread isn't either unless you have about 4 grams of fiber in each slice or more [sPAM:**] Re: [sPAM:**] Re: Re: Glucophage BACK to Heidi-Thanks! > The only thing I eat now is broiled or poached fish, turkey, vennison, > free range eggs, blenderized fresh vegetables, maybe a half slice of > whole wheat bread, peaches mashed up, some strawberries, soup broths with > NO fat, organic if I can find. Guest guest
Fruit and the ww bread are moderate on the GI scale and it is hard for me to believe that a half a slice of bread and a half a peach could raise my BS that much. What do you think? Is this insulin resistance? Is it because the pancreas is starting to break down more? Thank you? Deb
Guest guest
I know that the ww bread and fruit are moderate on the GI. But it is hard for me to believe that this could raise my BS that much. What do you think? Does this mean that my pancreas is decreasing function? Possible insulin resistance?
