Deb,

Thank you for sharing your experiences with the CF and CP. Many

persons are confused about the gene mutation and the CF disease

process. As you shared, you have two mutations, which places you at a

higher category for pulmonary involvemnet. Most of the pesons I have

met only have one mutation, do not have pulmonary involvement, and

only found out about the CF gene mutation during the diagnostic work

up for CP.

You certainly are an inspiration to be so devoted to regular exercise.

I read an article yesterday that the big E is the miracle medicine.

Only wish I could work out like I used to. But am thankful for all I

have. I struggle more with the CP because it seems nothing helps the

bloating, pain, distention, and cravings for sugar. And I should not

have any sugar with my insulin resistance. I keep trying. Pain free

days. Deb
