I want to be sure that these supplement ingredients are SCD Legal:

Zinc: everything is legal because it is listed on the legal supplement list

EXCEPT for gelatin. That is listed as legal in food so I am assuming the

gelatin is legal in supplements as well.

Cat's Claw (for immune support): Coconut Glycerin and USP Purified Water

Vitamin C: Gelatin, magnesium stearate, water

Also, Our Dr. that has our daughter on this diet uses homeopathy in addition

to prescription medicines. Some of the homeopathic drops (for yeast, bacteria

and digestion) he uses contain small amounts of alcohol. He is well informed

about SCD and spoke with Elaine by phone. Is alcohol in medicines SCD

legal? Some of the supplements at the health food store contain alcohol as

well in the liquid form like the herbs and things like that.

Thanks,

Beth

The only thing I am not familiar with and can't find legal/illegal

references to is the cat's claw itself. Everything else, including the

alcohol is legal.

If it is an extract it may be fine. If it is a powder or tea of the

bark and/or root it may not be.

Also if you use it make sure that the correct chemovar (chemical

variety) was used:
