Guest guest
correct. Honestly Josh, you should be in a world of hurt. I have a hight tollerance to pain and even I was was hurting, so pain is a huge indicator. Best of luck to you. Where are you having your ercp done at? Make sure you get a doc who is the guru in that-Kathleen Josh Lord wrote:>
Guest guest
Well, no, in fact I've had no pain at all. I'm not 100 percent sure the weight loss is in any way related to the pancreas, so I'm am fielding possibilities--liver disease, pancreatic disease, depression, etc. I've had no symptoms except the unintended weight loss, and, as I said before, all my lab tests, ultrasound, CT scans, etc, show up A-OK. Here is where I'd like feedback: If the problem was my pancreas, would I definitely absolutely be having abdominal pain? >

Guest guest
Josh, Have you checked out celiac disease? It might be worth reading and learning about. It can cause unexplained weight loss without pain in some patients. Crystal
Guest guest
Thanks. I've done an identity switch, from 'trivation' to 'hopsocker,' but same guy, involuntary weight loss. Yes, celiac disease was on the 'possibles' list, but weeks ago I had an upper endoscopy done, checking out stomach and small intestine, everything fine in that area, fortunately. Just as a double-check, I also went for an entire month with no gluten foods (wheat, barley, etc), which are the main problem in celiac disease. Being gluten-free didn't change anything, so celiac disease has been ruled out. But I appreciate the input. > Josh, > > Have you checked out celiac disease?
