Kathleen,

I am glad to hear that you were able to have your PICC line removed.

If it has been in for some time, I am sure it was as glad to be

removed as you were to get a break. Sometimes when PICC has been in

for a while there is a bit of a delay in the veins ability to clot,

particularly since it has been flushed with Heparin. Keep the pressure

dressing on through tomorrow evening, then it should be fine. You may

want to put a small bandaid on it after you remove the Coban or

whatever brand dressing you have on it now.
