Guest guest
I started my 7 year old son on raw goat milk in July without any problems. I purchased the yogurt maker and progurt from the pecanbread website and started him on the goat yogurt at the end of August -- so far so good... One thing I notice is that the yogurt looks very soupy when I take it out of the frig for him to eat it -- doesn't have the thick consistency of yogurt. The yogurt maker I purchased does not require you to put water into the machine so I can't tell what the temperature is when I have the jars of yogurt in the machine for 24 hours. Any possibility the yogurt is not good when it is this soupy (after 8 hours in the frig)? Any feedback/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Guest guest
Hi Martha- I asked the same question a while back. Goat yogurt is very watery. You can strain the yogurt with paper coffee filters, which works great for thickening the yogurt. Good luck!
