Guest guest
I was wondering the same thing that asked (being new and all). In the first week of the diet I was concerned about the amount of fruit/sugar feeding the yeast, but since we are going SCD strong, my daughter is doing better with other foods. Hamburger patties are the only meat we can get her to eat, but she did eat the meatloaf last night. And seems to being slowing down on the fruit!! I have baked a few cookies and things, so I will remember the honey next time! Thanks for all the help! Christy Maegan 5yr, AU, SCD 2 whole weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [sPAM] Re: Fruit Hi, , Eliminating the starches and complex carbs should be enough for most SCDers to do well and enjoy healthy fruit and honey. Occasionally there can be people with an extreme problem with yeast. In that case, try reducing the amount of honey to 1/3 of what is called for in a recipe. If you still have problems with that amount of honey and the fruit, then you may have to discontinue honey and limit fruit for a period of time. mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
