Guest guest
, I read 's post where she asked you about work? How exciting. I missed that transition, somehow, where you went from being in surgery to returning to work. Though I posted this as OT (off topic), I actually feels like it is pertinent to all of us. Since so many of us are so ill and cannot imagine returning to work, it gives us all great hope to see that some persons' lives are able to regain a sense of normalcy, even if for a short while. Guest guest
And it was for a very short while Karyn...I put my resignation in today. Partly for health, but that could probably have been overcome, but majorly as Dennis has gotten a new job (thank goodness, as the company he worked for the past 9 years announced it's closure) in Virginia and we will be moving as soon as this house sells. We will be moving 2 hours north of where we are now, so it would be impossible for me to continue on. It was all just rotten timing and I felt bad as anything as they had spent a week training me. My feet and body have been swelling up unbelievably bad, and on Friday I had to come home early as my ankles had swollen so much that they were burning with pain as the skin was stretched beyond belief. I have pressed on the swelling which doesn't want to go down, and it doesn't pit, so I'm concerned that it could be my right kidney, pancreas or which I've believed all along, my thyroid. Doc tests my thyroid and says it's in the normal range, but with hair thinning, and the severe swelling and weight gain, I wonder. I will ask her next week about it. However Karyn, had we not be needing to move, I would have kept working fulltime. I didn't mention anything about my surgeries, just touched on the subject that I was medically unwell when I found out I was pregnant and that had since been detected and fixed. I decided the tumour growth had slowed down somewhat and wasn't necessary for them to know unless another one grew which might not ever happen again....although I doubt it will be never *L* Regards,
