Hi Everyone,

I am excited to start the diet with my 2 year old daughter who has been

on a GFCF diet for several months. She is a very picky eater(lots of

sensory issues with the mouth) and I am wondering if I can add some

legal things to the intro diet such as bananas and possbily nut

breads?? I want to do this right, but I don't want her to starve. I

once tired a diet cold turkey with her and she did not eat anything for

two days. I am afriad if I give her all new foods she will just go on

strike. We are all going to start the diet on Monday. Any advice would

be appreciated. Also does anyone know where I can get sugar free bacon

or sugar free turkey bacon?

Thanks,

Legal sugar-free Gwaltney bacon is available at Wal-mart. It does have

nitrites.

If you do the intro diet, you cannot add bananas and nuts. Bananas can

be added right after the intro. Nut flour should not be added until

some healing has occured, although a small amount of nut flour is

sometimes added shortly after the intro if constipation is an issue.

Some people do not do the intro diet. But those who do tend to have

better results.
