Newcomer needs patient contacts

Hi guys and Happy Thanksgiving!

I am currently working on the packet for Dr.

Rutledge's office.

As you all know, one of the requirements is contact

with at least ten previous patients. I have been reading

your letters of encouragement to one another and your

progress reports and hope that some of you will be

willing to help by being my " patient contacts " .

You probably remember what is required but just in

case I need to ask your preoperative weight, date of

operation, current weight as well as your opinion of Dr.

Rutledge, his staff, the hospital and your experience

with the surgery. I would also appreciate knowing about

how much pain you experienced, your time off work and if

this surgery is something you would do again. I would

also be interested in any other comments, advice or

observations you would like to make.

I am very pleased to be one of you. At 47, 5'4 " ,

242lbs and a married mother of two I am looking forward

to the end of a lifetime of failed diets, embarassments

and exhaustion.It is my hope that this operation will

also protect me from a lot of weight related illnesses

that loom before me unless I get this problem under

control.
