Hi Sheila,

Since you are weaning off prednisone some of the foods you may have

tolerated at higher doses you may not be okay with now since the dose

is lower.

>I think that's what happened - I've been off the Pred for a number of weeks

now.

I don't think the black walnut hull is legal, Do you have parasites

(I looked through past emails but couldn't find if you were or not)

>why not legal? my naturopath suggested it b/c I am still having problems

even with the diet

It may be a good idea to go back to the intro and see if that helps

clear up the diarrhea. All those foods you are posted are legal but

I thought you said you were doing well. Since you are still having

bleeding it may help to go to the easier to digest foods and give

your body a chance to heal before returning to these harder to digest

legal foods.

>I was doing well for about a week and then the bleeding started again - I

haven't been able to figure out why

Since you still have bleeding the good enzymes in yogurt may be

aggravating this. If you wait a while longer more healing may allow

you to tolerate the yogurt. For the itchiness: was it goat or cow

yogurt?

>cow yogurt. cheese doesn't seem to cause the same response. tried goat

yoghurt - too gamey :P

here's something that occurred to me - I had been drinking carbonated water

with lemon flavoring. I assumed (duh) it was fine and then for the first time,

I saw on the label yesterday it said " natural flavoring " . so i've stopped that!

last night no D and this am only 1x after that trophies!

I'm going to cut out the cabbage family & beets and stick to the basics for a

bit and see if that helps.

If I go back to the intro - is it 2 days if the D stops. What if D doesn't

end in 5 days?

Thanks,

Liz
