Well, folks, I made it! I had surgery yesterday, decided to stay the night in

the hospital, and checked out this morning!

It all went very smoothly -- which is to say that I have no memory of the

surgery itself. I had no pain, thus depriving myself of a Demerol high. My

bowels are rumbling and I'm gaseous, which are good signs. No nausea, no other

complications (knock wood!)

I'll be reading e-mails somewhat sporadically for the next few days, but I

wanted to thank you all for your good wishes!

I am three weeks away from my date. Can't wait to

join you! Please keep us informed every step of the

Welcome to the other side Jon. I'm glad to hear that all went well with your

surgery, and that you and Gwen did the " Swan Dance " ..........LOL
