Bloodwork Came Back Normal? Is This Good or Bad?

Hi All,

The bloodwork for the pancreas and liver I had taken yesterday came

back normal. Tomorrow I have the hida scan and also an appointment

with my GI.

I have 3 questions I hope you can help me with, as most of you have

been through the wringer with this sort of thing;

1. How can it be normal?

2. What do I ask my GI to do next to find out what the heck is wrong

with me??

3. What would cause my pancreas to hurt after getting my gallbladder

out?

Thanks so much for your help and support.

Eileen

1. I have no idea (docs argue this one all the time)

2. MRCP or EUS or ERCP

3. lots of stuff, sludge, a blockage or partial, narrowing of the ducts. If your

biliary is funky, it can make your panc hurt.

Thank you Kathleen (love that name)

May I ask what a MRCP and a EUS is? I'm a newbie with the

terminology.

Hopefully, if it a blockage, narrowing or a funky biliary they will

see it tomorrow. Not sure if a Hida Scan will show it, but I hope so.
