Just a little update I had the surgery two days ago and I am feelin pretty

good considering. Not much nausea and no vomiting (one close call).

My incisions look pretty good, I had no blood or drainage from them.

Stomach is sore, sorta like too many sit-ups and I am so paranoid about

pulling my incisions open. I still have a little gas and that is the

only pain, really more like discomfort. The procedure was 28 minutes

and I was discharged at 9:30 (along with everyone else I think) the

morning after my surgery. I have a little bit of blurry vision from a

nausea patch, but have taken it off and hope the blurriness goes away

soon. We are at Kinkos on the computer so can't check very often. I

met Jon, Gwen, and C. White (sorry, but I cannot remember your first

name) AND Gloria came for a visit. The blunt but bad news is that I

started my period which causes some confusion. Am I cramping or is it

my new tummy? Either way, I am able to get up and about, just a little

more easily tired.

Also as a note, we stayed at Extended Stay for one night and switched

to Hawthorn Suites. I booked that same day at Hawthorn and they

gave me the Medstay rate. It is soooo much better and roomier. Well

worth the dollar difference.

Thank you soooo much to Gloria for the visit, that was so kind. Also,

thanks to all who sent us prayers and well wishes. I will say it is a

struggle at this point to get everything in at the right times, but I know

this will come together within a few days.

Good luck to all who are seeking approval and to those who have

dates, congratulations.

Will check in later.
