Guest guest
Maegan is on Dyflucan for yeast per DAN dr. She is 40lbs and she on 150mg. [sPAM] Booster Shot Schedule at Well Visit, Lyme's, and Diflucan Question My son was in for a " well visit " yesterday. I waived the MMR, DPaT, Polio, and Varicella. Would they really have pumped 8 diseases into a child who has just been put on antibiotics to fight Lyme's Disease? I did not ask this question, because the Ped. had the waiver in her hand when I walked in. She knows I would have had to be shot dead for them to be able to jab him. UNREAL. He is so yeasty on the Amox. even with Diflucan. (She was kind enough to give me an Rx for Diflucan, but it is only for 50 mg/day. He weighs 43 lbs.) Does he need more? (If anyone has had their child on this as per their DAN'S, I would be interested the dosing for the weight.) Last week, when he was diagnosed w/the lyme's, he was really calm and focused. This week, he was jumping up and down on the examining table like an animal and ripped up the paper that was on there. I told her that this started with hours of the Amox. I think she is starting to believe that there something to this yeast thing. Do you think this is die-off from the Diflucan? Guess if he regulates in a couple of days, that is what it was. He has been on the Amox. since Saturday morning and the Diflucan since Saturday night. I feel like I am poisoning him every time I gave him the Amox. but lyme's disease can be a much bigger evil. Guest guest
Thank you. This information is helpful. His dose is clearly much too low to keep up with the yeasty beasties. I am not givinh him a a lot of honey and am trying to cut down on fruit. He was 45 Lbs. at a dr's appointment in February, and he just weighed in at 42.4 lbs on Thursday. I read the info on keeping on weight. I am trying to give him lots of oils and avocadoes and such. Right now, he is a bottomless pit, much more than usual. (May be the yeast.) We are definitely concerned regarding the weight loss. He is still at a healthy weight and is on at the 60th %tile for his age (50th for height).
