Guest guest
My 2 year 9 month old son has been GF/CF for 1 year now. Very picky eater. He only eats waffles, french fries, potato chips, hot dogs, rice milk, bananas and grapes. I am going to start him on SCD very soon, however I am very, very nervous about him starving. He doesn't touch or even look at soup or carrots, or chicken. Do I just stop all previous foods cold turkey and just wait for him to eat Intro diet and offer him rippened bananas and grapes. Also, are bananas and grapes ok for yeast build up? Please help. Thanks, Jemy
Guest guest
Hi, Jemy, Please read the following links thoroughly; they will give you ideas of how to proceed. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/pecanbread/message/61677 http://www.pecanbread.com/new/pickly1.html http://www.pecanbread.com/new/scdfoods1.html#transition Bananas can be added after the intro diet. You probably won't be giving grapes for a while unless you want to peel and cook them. By eliminating the starches and complex carbs most SCDers can do well and enjoy a good amount of fruit. Occasionally there are some with severe yeast problems that may have to limit fruit for a while. mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
