Guest guest
I wrote this poem a while back with my profession, nursing, in mind. I think now it applies to each and every one of us here. FOR WHAT DICKENS HAD TOLD Skipping past the hour glass seeing only the faces of the past. Fainting smile and hands that are held. Milking hope that is deeply in dwelled. And all that I know and all that I hold lies woven in what Dickens had told. Skipping past the hour glass glancing back to the remaining sands. With weakening shoulder held up by hoist for loving families to make moist. With ears that listen for the unspoken word for hearts can hear what is often obscured. And all that I know and all that I hold is so softly woven in what Dickens had told. With words that echo through out heavens kingdom " A loving heart is the truest wisdom. " I hope ya'll like it. D.
