Hi All,

We just started the intro yesterday & we are needing some

encouragement! He only ate a couple of the chicken pancakes yesterday

& a little legal, diluted grape juice but hasn't eaten anything so far

today. I can't get him near the chicken soup or legal gelatin. He

loves bacon & I saw where the Gwaltney Sugar-Free bacon is legal & we

were wondering how soon we could introduce that, as well as pork chops

(I was thinking of grinding the broiled pork chops & adding eggs to

make pork pancakes like the chicken pancakes...?) Also, altho I have

spent the last week re-reading the book & pouring over the pecanbread

site, there is no diarrhea yet (hate to be graphic, but his poops are

always mush) & he hasn't had a bm since yesterday morn, which is very

unusual. Should I be concerned?

Thanks for any help!!

Christy

Hi, Christy,

Keep hanging in there. Try to get him to at least drink something. If

not much is going in, not much will come out, if you get my drift. :-)

You only need to do the intro for 2 days so tomorrow you can introduce

a new food. Do not introduce bacon yet; it is not for beginners. I

would recommend introducing ripe banana (with spots) if that is

something he likes because bananas have quite a few calories. Or you

could introduce pearsauce; it can get things moving.

You might try cutting the gelatin in fun shapes. You might try the

broth in a mug. Maybe he would like to dip small chicken pancakes into

pear sauce.
