Guest guest Posted October 14, 2007 Report Share Posted October 14, 2007 hi, I am just about to start my asd son on scd he is 7 yrs old he eats chicken pancakes already,butternut sqaush and fruit muffins made with almond nut flour and bannans and apple sauce, i am worried if i go for the intro diet was gonna start tomorrow i will have to cut out the butternut sqaush pancakes and fruit muffins both of which he loves, so really looking for advicehas anyone started with these type of foods already in place hes been eating them for about 4 months and they are well tolerated and refers them over any other food do you think it would be fine to start from where we are and slowly introduce stage 1 foods i was going to start tomorrow. melissa mother of shane aged 7 about to start scd ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Catch up on fall's hot new shows on Yahoo! Some parents do what you are doing--just serve legal foods without doing the intro. But you will get better results if you start with the intro diet and then add one new foods at a time and watch for reactions.
