Hi from Bay City. I am from Michigan also. I live just about 30

miles northwest of you in Rhodes. Just west of Pinconning. There are two

of us up here in this area who have had the MGB. I am not quite 2 months

post op (11/28/00)and have lost 32 lbs.

Now regarding the history and physical. And I just want you to know this is

how things went for me. Someone else might have a total different opinion

or experience. But it worked for me. I took a copy to my Dr (Dr Tamez

in Bay City) just to give him a guideline. I to didn't want to seem like I

was telling him how to do his job but I didn't want to be rejected by Dr R

for not having a complete history either. So I did. I am glad I did

because I don't think my Dr was planning on having to do such an in depth

history as what Dr R wanted from his remarks to me after he read the

guidelines. He said something like wow he sure is thurough.Then he said, we

might have to do this in a couple of appointments. And it did take a couple

of appointments to get the history and then the physical done. My Dr did a

real good job dictating a history combined with his letter stating he had

been my PCP for 10 years and would be my follow up dr.as long as I wanted

him to be.
