Guest guest
I like the Tylenol commercial where the CEO states, " If you aren't going to use Tylenol the way it is prescribed, I would rather you not use Tylenol at all " . I, personally, try and avoid Tylenol period because I think my system is more compromised with pancreatitis, and I may not tolerate 4 grams a day as well as a healthy individual. Guest guest
I am sure it has been said before, but can someone please write the way to tell how much is a gram of tylenol. My FNP moved me to Norco 10 and percocet 5's and if that doesn't work for me she will give me the MS contin. So far, so good. Adiquate enough pain control. In an off subject, my husband is on vicoden 5's. He has a script for 60 at a time. He needs a knee replacement. But he has admitted to me that only sometimes the pain is so great that he needs to take all the 60 vicodin in a month. Last month he went through more than 120. He admitted he takes them for a " high " . (Yes, I hide my pills. I always have.) I haven't felt that at all on them, but I am weird with pain pills anyway. I want him to move to the Norco 5's for less tylenol but am afraid his doctor, not an FNP, will just move him to the Norco 10's because of his past usage and he will take even more of what he really doesn't need at all times. His doctor is a " man's man " and will give him whatever he wants. With a woman you have to constantly prove everything to him so I stay with the FNP. She's more understanding. This scares me with the tylenol use as he drinks 2 1/2 big bottles of rum a week and I stress over his mixing the alcohol and the tylenol. Figuring out how much tylenol a day is too much would be helpfull. Thanks, Sandy in Ca -------------- Original message -------------- I, personally, try and avoid Tylenol period because I think my system is more compromised with pancreatitis, and I may not tolerate 4 grams a day as well as a healthy individual.
