From my understanding, hydrocodone is the same kind of the drug oxycodone just in a milder form. but I'm no druggist. The big issue with these meds mixed together is not overdosing on the acetomenophen. A lot of people may be taking percocet and vicodan; et al. and not realize there is or how much acetomenophen may be in each one. Thanks for the input. (SC) PS any med that is not enteric coated taken over a long period of time will affect the stomach in some way or another, even vitamin C.
