Guest guest
Thanks for the wonderful words! I have one big fear of coming down there........I have never been there that ?I did not have a central line of some kind, PICC, port, Broviac, something. I am not doing that this time because of the problems I have had and the docs won't put in anything but a midline (it goes up to the shoulder). I am terrified TERRIFIED of getting stuck w/o lidocaine. I don't have that problem here because at the hospital the only ones besides the ER that put in IVs are the IV team and of course they use lidocaine and I make the ER use it too. Now, what is your suggestion that I do about this little problem? I hate it. I know it will be a hassle and there will be the one who wants to " be the one " to get in the IV yada, yada. Just on the premise of the needle stuff I am liable to back out! No kidding! I am getting nuts about it already and I don't even have an appointment yet. If I were positively sure it was the Aleve that caused this pancreatitis I would not go. But, there is always the possibility the bile duct is getting tight again and if things were like last summer, I might not make it the next time. I surely hope when I come, there are no hurricane problems. My nerves cannot take anymore! haha. I had so many problems in the hospital this itme that I am too tired to go into them. It was a string of disaster from the get-go. I will tell you all about it later. Some of it is funny now but it is just incompetence if you ask me. I will sure let you know when I am coming down. Thanks for the kind words. Take care Kaye In pancreatitis , " " <cdrrn@c...> wrote: > Kaye, my goodness I am so sorry that you have been so sick. I wish I > had known. Guest guest
Kaye, Hi, I'm new here. Sorry for butting in, but I saw that you wrote this; " If I were positively sure it was the Aleve that caused this pancreatitis I would not go " I am taking Aleve right now for after surgery swelling and pain.
