Guest guest
Hello Everyone: Yesterday was my two month anniversary and I am doing great! I have lost 49 lbs to date. I have lost 5 " in my waist, 1/2 " in my upper arm, 2 " in the bust, 6 " in the hips and 3 inches in the upper thigh. I seem to be losing faster below the waist than at the top. I guess things will catch up. I feel pretty good overall. I still get really tired by the end of the work week. So on Friday nights I just want to be a couch potato. I pretty much eat what I want. I know that things that are rich and high in fat will give me stomach pains and send me running to the bathroom so I stay away or eat just a bite. I do best with salads, soups, fishes and veggies. That's OK, I can deal with all of that, because I am sooooo happy with my weight loss. This surgery is actually teaching me a good way to eat, healthy, eat slowly and eat many small meals a day. I walk for exercise and I am getting ready to start with some machines and weights in my gym at work for toning. I am more and more thankful for Dr Rutledge everyday. He is a wonderful Dr. and I just cannot tell him enough how much I appreciate everything he has done for me. Also, I just love the people in my local support group (Flo, Amy, Drema, R. D, Tammy and Tania) They are great and I really enjoy getting together with them. I met most of them when I was pre-op and they helped me to make the tough decision. God Bless and good luck to all.
