just wanted to add that I have always associated my high back pain with my SOD.

My pancreas back pain is more lower. The best way I explain it is that is starts

out feeling like when you have been in bed for days because of the flu or

something like that. Then it gets worse. I also feel like there is a catch in my

back. Sorta like it needs to adjusted. But I know it doesn't.

Don't know much about ulcers and back pain at all. Back pain with

pancreatitis is usually mid to upper back, from the area along the bra

line....(even guys know where that is)...into the shoulders and

sometimes higher.
