It is a different life. But there are blessings this new life provides. If you

spend your time missing what was, you may miss what is in the here and now.

Why do people think life has to be fair? We are obligated as himan beings to

leave this world in a better shape than it was when we arrived. We are not born

with the right to be health or happy. It's not about self. It's about taking

this this illness and saying , ok, you know what, I'm sick. This is my new life.

There are other people who are sick too. Help those people, Talk to them, joke

with your nurses, you can still laugh, can't you? Can you breath on your own???

If so, you are doing better than some people. Do some volunteer work, help other

sick people. They know you get tired easy, but man, the bond that forms. it

suddenly becomes a journey traveled together. -Kathleen
